Product Description

If an accidental separation of the trailer/caravan occurs, the Breaksafe 6000 System has been designed to activate the electric brakes and brake lights on all caravans, trailers, horse floats and campers.

Breaksafe will not only apply the electric brakes and the brake lights of the trailer, but will keep them applied for around 20 minutes, enabling you to secure your trailer.

Breaksafe has its own power supply, which charges while driving, or it can be charged externally with a battery charger. It also has a battery condition indicator, allowing you to tell the condition of the battery, with the push of a button.

Each Breaksafe kit comes complete with battery, coil cable breakaway switch and all mounting hardware, as well as full installation instructions. .

On trailers with a Gross Trailer Mass (GTM) of over 2000kg, the braking system must apply to all wheels, as well as immediate application of trailer brakes in the event of the trailer becoming detached from the towing vehicle.

Oversized Shipping

We try our hardest to ensure freight charges are as fair as possible, however with some oversized/larger items going to remote locations may incur additional costs. 

Returns

We understand that you might need to return something to us for a number of reasons. Please contact us before sending anything back.

Approved return items must be returned to us via tracked postage or courier.  Without a verifiable tracking number, you accept full risk of the item not reaching us.  Returns not received by us will not qualify for replacement or refund.

We don't offer refunds for any reason after 30 days
